The Opportunity

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our established Warehouse team on day shift and backshift. You’ll be organised, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced Warehouse environment.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll deal with all aspects of warehouse work including picking orders, dealing with queries and processing incoming and outgoing goods.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others
  • Ensure that all goods that are loaded or unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
  • Sort and rotating stock according to established procedures (FIFO).
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse forklifts and equipment.
  • Report any damage or issue to warehouse managers or supervisors.
  • Always follow all instructions of your line manager or the supervisor.
  • Ensure that loads are picked in accordance with sales orders and that loads comply with load instructions and customer special requirements.
  • To ensure the highest possible levels of customer and supplier care are delivered thereby ensuring excellent levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
  • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others.


What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a Warehouse Operative or similar role
  • Ability to accurately complete orders with a flexible approach to duties and tasks
  • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor service and mistakes
  • FLT counterbalance license (essential)
  • Good communication skills with a commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude
