As a Production Operative, you will be an essential part of the production process — helping us maintain quality, meet production targets, and uphold hygiene standards. You will receive full training to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to carry out your role in line with company and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

You will learn how to:

• Follow hygiene procedures and “clean as you go” policies
• Understand run rates and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with your team
• Be flexible and adapt to changes in the production environment

Typical Tasks Include:

• Opening cheese packaging using a safety knife
• Cutting cheese using a mechanical wire cutter
• Flipping and inspecting cheese blocks/Loading cheese onto conveyor belts
• Cleaning down machines and scraping cheese from floors/equipment
• Pack finished bags into boxes
• Stacking finished boxes onto pallets
• Operating electric pallet trucks (after training)

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with accuracy
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good physical stamina – the role involves standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks
