IT Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our IT team, working alongside an established team and reporting into the IT Manager you will be responsible for the following in your day to day role:

Role Specific:

• 1st Line Tickets and Escalation
• Install, Configure and Maintain Desktops, Laptops and Printers
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
• Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components
• Maintain and Update Knowledge base
• Testing new hardware and software before full-scale installation
• Work with the Production Team to solve any IT issues that may arise.
• Working in food safe high care environment when necessary
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the IT Manager.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 2 Years working in an office environment

Desirable knowledge and experience of the following is essential:

• Microsoft Server 2008 – 2016
• Creating / Managing user profiles
• GPO
• Microsoft 365 Package

Required Education and Other

• Minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above (including Maths and English)
• Excellent levels of spoken and written English
• The ability to communicate and interpret issues
• Excellent attention to detail
• Highly motivated and proactive
