We are now looking to appoint a Global Operations Coordinator to strengthen our Global team and support our expanding international operations.


The Role

As a Global Operations Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our Global Team. You will liaise with internal teams, freight forwarders, and international customers to ensure seamless order processing, shipping, and documentation. You will be fully trained and supported as you grow into an integral part of the Global team.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating with internal departments to meet export schedules.
  • Processing orders and invoices using internal systems and SAGE200.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders to arrange shipping and haulage.
  • Prepare and complete export documentation accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate bookings and update tracking systems.
  • Oversee loading of overseas orders and track shipments.
  • Manage the delivery of documents in line with payment terms.
  • Update systems and logs post-loading, including freezer logs.
  • Handle customer samples and trade show logistics.
  • Support IT/QA teams to ensure print materials are correct.
  • Resolve export-related issues and maintain high customer service standards.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements and uphold company standards.


Essential Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude.
  • Proficient IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Awareness and sensitivity to working with customers from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, compliance, and safety standards.

 

Desirable (Non-Essential) Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in supply chain management/business administration or export operations.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage, though not essential.
  • Previous experience in a similar export or logistics coordination role.
  • Familiarity with SAGE200 or similar ERP systems/Salesforce
  • Understanding of export documentation and shipping procedures.
  • Experience liaising with freight forwarders and coordinating international shipments.
