At Prima, we're packed with character. For almost 30 years, we've been helping customers across the UK and around the world. Behind every order, exhibition stand, customer visit, and celebration is a team of passionate people who each bring their own flavour to the mix.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an Events Coordinator to help bring Prima to life through memorable experiences, whether that's representing us at international exhibitions, welcoming customers to our sites or helping create the moments that bring our people together.

 The Role

No two weeks look the same in this role. One week you could be helping organise a global exhibition, the next coordinating a customer visit, supporting a trade event or helping deliver a company celebration. This is a hands on role for someone who loves turning ideas into reality, enjoys building relationships and gets a real buzz from seeing an event come together.

 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinating busy event calendars and timelines across multiple projects.
  • Organising venues, travel, accommodation, catering, and logistics.
  • Working closely with our Global and UK Marketing Leads, and other teams across two sites
  • Managing suppliers and ensuring events reflect Prima’s brand and standards.
  • Supporting on-site delivery, set-up, and breakdown.
  • Capturing leads, feedback and insights and producing clear, actionable reports.
  • Helping build strong relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • This role will involve occasional UK and international travel to support events and exhibitions.

About You

You're organised, proactive and love making things happen. You take pride in the detail but also enjoy the buzz of event days when plans come to life. You build relationships easily, stay calm under pressure and aren't afraid to roll your sleeves up when needed.

You'll enjoy being part of a collaborative team and representing a company where people, relationships and quality genuinely matter.

You’ll ideally have:

  • An Event Management qualification (e.g. Level 3–5 Diploma or Degree in Event Management).
  • •Proven experience in event management, trade shows, or a related coordination-focused role, with hands-on involvement in live event delivery.
  • Strong organisation and communication skills.
  • Confidence dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to stay calm, flexible, and solutions focused in a fast paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, Teams, and CRM systems (Salesforce desirable).

Why Join Prima?

  • Be part of a company that's ambitious, growing and packed with character.
  • Get involved in UK and global events.
  • Work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Operations and People & Culture.
  • Have the freedom to bring ideas to the table and make them happen.
  • Help create the experiences that leave a lasting impression of Prima.
  • Join a team where people genuinely care, support each other and enjoy what they do.

Supportive Environment

Our people are key to our success. We’re committed to providing a supportive, inclusive environment and a structured internal training programme to develop knowledge of our business, products, customers, and systems.
