Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our Engineering Department. Working alongside a small team and reporting into the Engineering supervisor, you will be responsible for the following in your day to day role:

  • Pre-planned maintenance on our four production lines
  • Reacting to and resolving breakdowns and issues in the production area
  • Carrying out maintenance tasks identified during the fabrication audits
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve any maintenance issues

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Must have a minimum of a HNC in a relevant discipline
  • Preferably have a minimum of 2 years experience within the food industry
  • Preferably multi skilled with an electrical bias but also capable of mechanical repair and maintenance
  • Good knowledge of control systems and inverters
  • Experience of installation of equipment

Additional Information:

  • You will be on a rotating shift pattern working a mix of day, back and night shift
  • One in four weekends on call will be required
  • Salary- Approximately £25,000 per annum dependant on experience

Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant

Job title:              Finance Assistant

Hours:                  40 per week, standard office hours

 

Role specification:

Reporting directly to the assistant financial controller you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Enter customer receipts into Sage accounting software
  • Prepare paying in books for cheques to be paid into the bank
  • Ensure cheques are banked in line with the cheque banking guide
  • Resolve customer telephone and email balance and invoice queries
  • Fax and email weekly customer statements and invoices.
  • Complete weekly reports for debt collection
  • Ensure outstanding balances are paid and customer accounts are up to date.
  • Liaise with UK sales and advise when pro former customers have made payment.
  • Complete daily cash sheet
  • Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the FD or Directors

I.T Technician

I.T Technician

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our IT team, working alongside an established team and reporting into the IT Manager you will be responsible for the following in your day to day role: Key Duties

  • Create bespoke IT solutions to staff issues and queries using Excel, Access and other software’s available.
  • Handling day to day queries from staff.
  • Installing and configuring hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Monitoring and maintaining and installing computer systems and networks.
  • Liaising with clients to create food labels to meet clients need, working in other languages whilst also meeting regulations for UK and other countries.
    • High attention to detail required.
  • Assist with basic graphic design demands
  • Work with production team to solve any IT issues that may arise.
    • Working in Food safe high care environment 

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 Years working in an office environment (preferably IT)
  • Excellent knowledge of the following is essential: –
    • Microsoft Excel
    • VBA
    • Microsoft Access
  • Experience with Access forms / reports / queries is essential
  • Experience with Sage is an advantage
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience with Photoshop, CorelDraw is an advantage

Required Education and Other Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above (including Maths and English)
  • BSc IT/Computer Science
  • Excellent levels of spoken and written English
  • The ability to communicate and interpret issues
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly motivated and proactive
