Sales Account Manager

 

Job Description 

 

We are a dynamic and rapidly expanding food manufacturing company looking for an experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team.

 

Reporting into the company directors you will be responsible for the following:

·         Generating and Prospecting for new business- UK and Northern Ireland.

·         Using your existing network of industry contacts to generate new business

·         Attending client meetings and delivering sales presentations

·         Achieving sales targets

·         Maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients

·         Developing strong working business relationships and understanding businesses to increase sales

·         Admin work where required

 

Person Specification 

 

The right candidate will have the following experience/attributes

·         Experience in sales within the food industry- preferred

·         Must demonstrate a motivated and enthusiastic attitude to generate new business

·         Have an outgoing personality

·         Demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times

·         Have excellent communication skills

·         Have ability to manage own diary and account base

·         Great closing skills

·         Proven track record of success

·         Full clean driving licence

·         Be hard working and driven

SALES AND CUSTOMER CARE CO--ORDINATOR

Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for the following activities when carrying out your duties:

  • Liaising with UK customers on a daily basis to confirm requirements and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Answer customer queries relating to delivery schedules.
  • Report and assist with the resolution of any complaints.
  • Upsell new products when taking orders.
  • Ensuring a good level of communication is maintained between yourself and other departments to enable a smooth and timely operation.

The successful Candidate will have the following attributes:

  • Good telephone manner
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Excellent attention to detail

THERE WILL BE NO SELLING INVOLVED IN THIS ROLE

SALARY WILL MEET NMW

HOURS OF WORK WILL BE MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9AM-5PM (SOME FLEXIBILITY AROUND THESE WORKING HOURS WILL BE CONSIDERED)
