It is one of the biggest cheese suppliers of foodservice and food manufacturing within the UK and export their product to over 55 countries worldwide. With both domestic and international business, the company continues to grow and is looking to expand their team.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the right candidate to join our IT team, working alongside an established team and reporting into the IT Manager you will be responsible for the following in your day-to-day role:

Role Specific:

  • Diagnose, repair, install and maintain computer and other IT related equipment and services
  • Answering and directing phone calls
  • Troubleshoot networking issues, including connectivity problems, DNS configuration, firewall management, and VPN setup.
  • Maintain records held in companies’ electronic systems
  • Support the team by handling all support issues and requests and ensure they are logged appropriately
  • Help to co-ordinate an activity with colleagues in the business to ensure that issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external customers

The training you will get:

  • You will attend college one day per week to achieve your Information Communications Technician Level 3 apprenticeship qualification.

Required Education and Other

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above (including Maths and English)
  • Excellent communication skills

Working Hours – 37.5 hours per week (paid lunch breaks are included)

Monday: 09:00 – 17:00

Tuesday: 09:00 – 16:30

Wednesday: 09:00 – 16:30

Thursday: 09:00 – 16:30

Friday: 09:00 – 16:00
