Export Coordinator

Role Specific:
As an Export Coordinator at Prima Cheese, your role is to ensure a smooth and timely operation, from order taking with customers to ensuring finished goods are loaded on time. With a state-of-the-art factory, we are dedicated to quality and innovation and are recognised as cheese experts on a global scale.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail orientated individual to join our dynamic export team. The successful candidate will be responsible for raising orders and invoices, liaising with internal departments and freight forwarders whilst maintaining quality and accuracy when arranging and completing export documentation. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work independently and manage their own workload.
What will I be doing?
As the Export Coordinator, you will contribute to the team effort by maintaining professional knowledge and enforcing organisational standards. You will collaborate with the Export, Commercial and Production teams to ensure goods are loaded correctly and on time.
The successful candidate will be fully trained on how to arrange all aspects related to export orders and on how to complete export documentation correctly with a view to developing into an integral part of the Export Team, supporting the Export Manager in the development of new business, and developing business with existing customers.
Responsibilities:
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure a smooth and timely operation to ensure finished goods are ready on time to meet loading schedules.
- Raising orders and invoices on internal database and SAGE200.
- Working closely with freight forwarders to arrange shipping and haulage.
- Arranging and completing export documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Overseeing the loading of overseas orders.
- Problem solving to ensure problem resolution for customers and delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organisation standards.
- Maintaining professional knowledge and establishing own personal networks.
- Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Potential opportunities to travel overseas to be part of exhibitions or for market visits.
- Full training will be provided.
What are we looking for?
